Welcome Bag Tags - Wedding Wednesday

I came across this tag and thought it was super cute. Just print, cut out and fill in your guests name. Then drop them off at the concierge at the hotel to deliver to the guests rooms.

Wedding Day Makeup Kit

One thing that can be really easy to forget is to put together a makeup kit for your wedding day. When you are getting ready for the big day, chances are you will be putting on makeup about an hour and half to two hours before your wedding.

This is especially true if you are taking photos before the ceremony or if you are getting ready at home or in a hotel room and your ceremony is in a different location.

Your wedding can last up to 4 hours or more. With all of the stress, camera lights and dancing all night your makeup can wear off very quickly. Here are a few things that you should consider putting in a small clutch bag. Have your maid of honor or one of the bridesmaids be responsible for carrying it.

Here are the must haves...

1. Sheer Lightweight Pressed Powder: Use a powder that is mineral based and provides oil absorbing coverage. We like the Mary Kay Sheer Pressed Powder. Plus it's a bargain at $16.00!
2. Lip Gloss: Your lips will need gloss re-applied throughout the night with all the kissing you will be doing! If you can find a 2 in 1 item like this lip gloss + fragrance duo it's less you have to carry!
3. Blush or Highlighting Powder: Just as you will need to re-apply powder you will need to touch up your blush.

An all-in-one compact will make your life so much easier. Everything you need for a quick touch up is all together with a convenient mirror. You won't have a lot of time for re-applying makeup so make sure it's easily accessible!

Scallop Label Template - Wedding Wednesday

This label template is so versatile! You can use these as address labels for your save-the-date cards, invites, shower invites, etc. You can also use them to customize your favors. Put a label on a treat jar and fill with candy or small trinket that coordinates with your wedding colors and theme.

Cupcake Flags - Wedding Wednesday

Now that you have the template to create your own cupcake wrappers, why not add some cute little flags. All you have to do is find scrapbooking paper in your color or theme. Use an exacto knife & ruler to cut out the flags.

Cupcake Couture - Wedding Wednesday

Who doesn't love cupcakes? I personally had a cupcake tower at my engagement party and it was a hit! I added little faux diamond rings to the top of each cupcake and they looked adorable!

You can download a template and cut out your own wrappers out of scrapbooking paper for a couture look. Or if you're not in a DIY mood just order them from Bella Cupcake Couture.

Instructions:

1. Download the template here

2. Print it onto a piece of cardstock

3. Cut it out and use it to trace the shape onto paper. You can fit multiple wrappers on a single sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ paper.

4. Cut out your shapes.

5. Use strong double-sided tape to adhere the cardstock

6. Decorate to your liking

Tips + Hints:

• Linear patterns like lines and plaid don’t work very well because the template is curved. It’ll look wonky.
• Use decorative scissors to cut out the top of the wrapper to add a bit of pizazz.
• Paper punches are great for adding a little extra cuteness, too.

Wedding Wednesday - FREE Wine Tag Template

This idea is fabulous for those of you who want to give wine glasses as favors. They are great for your reception, engagement party or even your rehearsal dinner. Just copy and paste the template onto your document and print on a heavy card stock. You can cut these out or get a circle cutter at a craft store. If you want to adhere them to the bottom of the glass just get a double sided adhesive tape runner and put a little adhesive on the edge of the tag. Another option is to punch a hole in the center of the tag and then cut straight out from the center to the edge. Then you can attach it to the stem of the glass. Just be sure you can get a hole punch big enough for the thickness of the stem.

Wedding Wednesday - FREE Treat Label Template

Today's freebie is a template that you can use to make labels for your welcome bags, favors or your candy buffet. These can be printed on your own computer using round labels that can be purchased at any office supply store. They are perfect for repackaging the goodies you put in your welcome bags. You can save a lot of money by buying snacks and goodies in bulk at a wholesale club. Just look for some cellophane or wax paper bags and use these seals to close them.
